Barbara at the Monterey Jazz Festival

It was a huge success. There were standing ovations in the middle of the set and a totally full house. People were standing wherever they found space. So everyone over here is totally happy about this huge success. I’m looking forward to Yoshis tonight!
I saw her too, and she was very entertaining, obviously feeling very comfortable. She was one of many pleasant surprises of the weekend.
Yes I saw her at The MJF in Sept. and fell in LOVE. Americans are missing out on the great Jazz performers that Europe produces. I realy hope she can come back. I just might go see he in Europe if she can’t come here. From a dedicated fan. Bob Hoyt
